My Approach to Wellness

My main area of focus is developing, healing, repairing, and strengthening relationships. The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. I believe in results and you, the client, being able to see your progress. I support those who want to grow and live a life of fulfillment. Family First Psychotherapy Services can be the instrument that families use to bring closeness, safe attachments, and better functioning to their lives. We know the value of helping people improve their lives, whether working through depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and other issues that keep them stuck and not progressing. We use the power of your subconscious to aid in your change. Once you believe that you are the master of your reality, change is inevitable.

My Commitment to Quality Care

I believe in the importance of education and training so that I can continue to develop in my art of healing and training. Clinicians who are working towards their counseling degree, whether Master’s or Ph.D. level, have the benefit of working with a seasoned advanced, trained clinician who cares about the quality of education and training that they receive. My passion continues to grow for knowledge and a skill set that will guide and facilitate the advancement of the family, the clinical field, and our community. I welcome a collaborative approach to wellness, allowing you to work with your primary care physician, psychiatrist, faith-based leader, social worker, and other specialists. Working within a system of care can improve results.

The Most Gratifying Part of My Job

I enjoy seeing clients develop a new awareness about their possibilities to grow when there's a need to:

  •  Create Tighter Stronger Relationship Bonds
  •  Create Balance and Reduce Stress
  •  Manage Moods and Anxiety
  •  Work through Issues related to Sexuality and Sex
  •  Maintain Recovery and Stability from Mental Illness/Disorder and/or Addiction

  •  Empowerment

In the Community

I donate time to the advancement of my community by serving on non-profit organization boards and supporting and sponsoring community activities. I stand against racial injustice, domestic violence, and the exploitation of children.

I have also held memberships in mission-driven professional organizations that want to see positive change in the community.
